Draft — awaiting legal copy
This policy sets out the cookies and similar technologies used on the I HOPE. KANEBO website and member portal, and how you can control them.
1. What We Use
Cookies are small files stored by your browser. We use them sparingly, and only one category is used without your permission.
2. Strictly Necessary
One session cookie keeps you signed in to your member account. It contains a random identifier only — no personal information — and is marked httpOnly so it cannot be read by scripts.
A separate session cookie serves the same purpose for administrator sign-in.
Your cookie preference itself is stored locally in your browser so we do not ask you again on every visit.
These cannot be switched off while you are using the site, because sign-in would not work without them.
3. Analytics
Used only with your consent, to understand which pages are useful and where members encounter difficulty. Analytics data is aggregated and is not used to identify you individually.
4. Marketing
Used only with your consent, to tailor campaign and reward messages to your interests. If you decline, you will still see the programme — it simply will not be personalised.
5. Managing Your Choice
The banner shown on your first visit lets you accept all, accept only what is strictly necessary, or choose each category individually.
You can change your decision at any time by clearing this site's data in your browser, which will cause the banner to appear again.
Your browser also offers controls to block or delete cookies, though blocking the strictly necessary cookie will prevent you from signing in.
